Stolen iPhone ? Why Disable Control Center from the Locked Screen ?

Control Center
In iOS, the Control Center can be used to quickly take a picture, jot down a note, turn on the lights, control your Apple TV, and much more. It's useful and convenient because you don't even have to unlock your iPhone or iPad to use it.
However, with that convenience comes a potential security issue. If you use Control Center to create Instant Notes, for example, you might not want anyone to be able to get at them just by picking up your device and swiping on the Lock screen, or what if your iOS device is stolen ?
You should disable the Control Center on a locked device to prevent thieves from enabling Airplane Mode or other settings that would make your phone harder to track using services like Find My iPhone. Disabling Control Center access on the lock screen enhances security by preventing unauthorised changes to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or location services, providing an extra layer of protection for your device's data and your privacy.
If you're concerned about such a possibility, don't be. Fortunately, there's an option in iOS that enables you to disable access to the Control Center from the Lock screen, it's just hidden away in your device's settings.
How to disable Control Center on the lock screen.
1 Open: the Settings app on your iPhone.
2 Tap: on Face ID; Passcode (or Touch ID; Passcode on older devices).
3 Enter: your passcode when prompted.
4 Scroll down: to the "Allow Access When Locked" section.
5 Turn off: the toggle for Control Center.

This action makes it impossible for someone who finds your phone to swipe down and disable Wi-Fi or turn on Airplane Mode, thus keeping your device online and trackable.
